A user can make call to IP channel of CNG gateway through his IP phone. If the IP channel is the FXO port, he can make call to PSTN through FXO port by the following ways:
(1) The caller user can hear the second dial tone, and then dial the destination PSTN number and then talk. Please refer to the configuration on the web portal.
Port Setting->Single Port Setting:
Notice that the “Prefix1” is the same as the Phone Number!!
(2) The caller can make call, the destination number is IP Number+PSTN Number. E.g the IP number is 7551001, the PSTN number is 008675526589288, and then he can call the destination number 7551001008675526589288, the CNG gateway will send 008675526589288 to PSTN, he can directly connect to PSTN, which ignores the second dial tone. Please refer to the configuration on the web portal. Port Setting->Single Port Setting:
Notice that the “Prefix1” is 7551001T. There is a suffix “T”, it means CNG will send the remained number to PSTN through FXO port. |
