Intelligent route is used when the CNG gateways have FXS and FXO port. The IP call can be routed or not routed to PSTN by setting the dialing plan parameters.

Dialing Plan parameters, “Intelligent Route”, there is three modes:

 

1. Auto: FXS port makes a call out, when meets the following situations, the call will be routed PSTN through FXO port.

(1) WAN port network failed

(2) FXS port register to server failed

(3) FXS get failover response from server

CNG gateway will automatically select an idle FXO port, and call out. It is the default mode which is most commonly used.

 

2. Force: FXS port makes a call to FXO port, the call will be forced to PSTN through FXO port.

e.g. FXS port calls “075526589288” to FXO, FXO port will force the call and make call to PSTN, the called number is “075526589288”.
